MIDDLEBURY - Helen A. Krajewski, 94, of Middlebury, died at 12:27 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at her residence. She had been in declining health for the past three months. She was born May 21, 1923, in Forestville, New York, to John and Mary (Pazik) Domagala.On Dec. 1, 1945, in Buffalo, New York, she married John Krajewski; he died June 3, 2011. Surviving are a daughter, Susan (James) Bontrager; nine grandchildren, Julie (Jason) Obendorf, Jonathan Bontrager, Curtis (Melody) Bontrager, Rachel (Joshua) Lenker, Shoshannah Bontrager, Grace Bontrager, Joy Bontrager, Daniel Bontrager and Jackson Bontrager; nine great-grandchildren; and sister Jean Kemp of Buffalo. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild Josiah Bontrager; three sisters, Stella Kolczyski, Mary Mazierski and Rose Miller; and three brothers, Michael Yochym, John Domagala and Tony Yochym. Helen was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bristol. She was a homemaker who loved to bake and cook and was known for the best pancakes in the world. She had worked in the factory during war time. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury.
