SOUTH BEND - Genevieve Bucher, 97, passed away at 1:50 pm, Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Hospice House. Genevieve was born April 18, 1916 in South Bend to the late Paul and Mary (Stesiak) Jasok. Genevieve married Fred Bucher in South Bend and he preceded her in death in 1986. She is predeceased by four sisters, Nelly, Mildred, Alice and Stephanie and two brothers, Louie and Fritz. Survivors include son, Jim (Jacqueline) Bucher; daughters, Barbara (John) Bronson and Jennifer Bronson; sister, Alice Mrozinski; and grandchildren, Patrick, Brian and Derrick. Genevieve enjoyed cooking, baking and planting flowers. Visitation will be 2-8 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Funeral will be 1 pm Thursday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Riverview. Contributions to the Center For Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637.
