Sandra K. Annis, 84 years old, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Walkerton. Mrs. Annis was born on June 9, 1938 in South Bend to the late Cecil John “Jack” and Arlene (Hancock) Wallace. She lived in LaPaz from 1948-1993 moving to South Bend in 1993. On February 16, 1958 in Plymouth, Sandra and Bill D. Annis were united in marriage. Bill preceded her in death on June 21, 1990. She and her husband were the former owners of Annis Grocery. Mrs. Annis is survived by her two sons, William “Ted” (Melinda) Annis of Plymouth and John “Jack” (Cynthia) Annis of Argos; four grandchildren, Savanna Hebert-Annis, Madison Annis, Michelle Cabrera and David Zink; four great grandchildren, Dayson, Lucas, Dre, and Eva; and her brother, Norman (Joan) Wallace of Robertsdale, AL. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Graveside services and burial will follow at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sandra K. Annis may be donated to Centre Township Fire Department, 19971 Kern Road, South Bend, IN 46614 or to LaPaz Fire Department, P.O.
