SOUTH BEND - Ida A. Koss, 89, passed away at 8:57pm, Monday, January 25, 2016 in her great-niece's residence. Ida was born on February 26, 1926 in South Bend to Louis and Mary (Zalka) Botos. She was employed by the St. Joseph County Health Dept., Oliver and Enro Shirt Factory. Ida married Eugene Koss and he preceded her in death along with two sisters Rose Foley and Helen Swiental, three brothers Art Botos, Joe Botos, and Billy Botos and a nephew Dean Valentine. Surviving are a sister Mary Valentine Murphy of Bradenton, FL, sister-in-law Lorraine Botos, a niece Rebecca Ullery, nephews Michael Swiental and Richard (Julie) Swiental, Phillip Valentine and Bobby Valentine and her great-nieces and nephews Debra (Keith) Lusk, Mary (Joe) Hektor, Katie (Jake) Neece, Travis Ullery, Kyle Ullery, Eric Ullery and Ian Kollar. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 6-8 Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice at Home.
