FISH LAKE - Mary Arlene Piotrowicz, 83, of Fish Lake, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Miller's Health and Rehab in La Porte, Indiana. She was born January 7, 1935 in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of William F. White and Cora Meda (Wallers) White. Mary was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fish Lake, Indiana where she attended daily Mass. She was also a member of the St. Anthony Rosary Sodality, L.O.V.E. Club, and the Fish Lake Community Center. Mary enjoyed playing bunco, oil painting, and puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, church, and helping others. On May 17, 1952, in Walkerton, IN, she married Edward J. Piotrowicz who preceded in death November 22, 1984. She is survived by her three sons, Edward J. (Debbie) Piotrowicz Jr. of TN, Kim A. (Cheryl) Piotrowicz of Fish Lake, IN, and P. Shawn Piotrowicz of La Porte, IN; daughter, Vicki M. (Jerry) Huelat of La Porte, IN; fifteen grandchildren, Jaime (Tony) Oss, Joshua Huelat, Jake (Jaci) Huelat, Jesse (Elise) Piotrowicz, Joey (Sarah) Piotrowicz, Leah Piotrowicz, Timothy (Alice ) Piotrowicz, Darlene Piotrowicz, Preciosa Piotrowicz, Lucita Piotrowicz, Micah Piotrowicz, Bethany (Matt) Mulder, Katie Piotrowicz, Amber (Craig) Oliver, and Peter Piotrowicz; sixteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Thelma L. (Jack) Blake of La Porte, IN. Mary was preceded in death by both her parents, husband; three sisters, Helen Daniels, Maxine Maynard, and Beverly Wallen; and four brothers, L. Eugene Gulley, Robert White, John White, and Larry White. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Friday, February 16, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. & Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7732 IN-4, Walkerton, Indiana 46574 on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Michael Heimer officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7732 IN-4, Walkerton, IN 46574; or to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 520 Crescent Ave., South Bend, Indiana 46617.
