SOUTH BEND - Finn Sebastian Golitko, beloved son of Mark Golitko and Emilie Utigard of South Bend, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend at the age of 5 1/2. Finn was a sweet, happy, loving little boy who loved playing Legos and cars with his Daddy, reading books, playing outside with his friends, cuddling with his Mama, and visiting his grandparents. He loved skating and skiing, romping with dogs, visits to the library, his friends and teachers at ECDC, and even tolerated the occasional hike. He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Phil and Becki Utigard of Burr Ridge, IL, and Rich and Doris Golitko of Neustadt, Germany; Uncle Ben Utigard, Uncle Kevin Utigard and Aunt Kelly McNaughton, Uncle David and Aunt Jamie Golitko; cousin, Sigi Golitko; great-grandfather, Bill Elliott; and great-grandmother, Ruth Geissler. He was our beautiful boy, and he brought so much joy to all of our lives in the short time we had with him. His passing has left a hole in all of our hearts. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 (EST) pm on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Funeral Services for Finn will be held at 11:00 am (CST) on Tuesday, April 3 at Union Church of Hinsdale (UCC), 137 S. Garfield Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 am (CST) Tuesday prior to services. Rev. J. Michael Solberg will officiate.
