SOUTH BEND - Harriet Konopinski, 92, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3rd, in The Place at South Park, Charlotte, NC. Harriet was born on October 15, 1915, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Frances (Litka) Lechtanski. On May 25, 1940, she married Leo Konopinski, who passed away on December 26, 1962.
She was also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters. She is survived by many nieces andnephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, August 7, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 8, in Resurrection Garden at St. Joseph Cemetery, where entombment will follow.
