Joseph Nafrady
March 8, 1907 - December 24, 1974

Joseph Nafrady, 67, of 738 N. Sherman, died at 11:45pm Tuesday in his home of an apparent heart attack. Hafrady was a retired University of Notre Dame food services baker. Born March 8, 1907, in South Bend, he had lived her his lifetime. In South Bend, he married Florence Geren, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John E., Robert E. and Michael J., all of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Rose Alice Rolko of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sandra Sanders of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren, and a half brother, Steven Chiszar of El Paso TX. Services will be at 11am Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Rev. Kenneth Bateman, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden. Friends may call from 6 to 9pm today in the funeral home. Nafrady was a member of Lodge 58, Loyal Order of Moose.
