MISHAWAKA - Patricia A. "Paddy" Kraska, 52, passed away on Thursday, January 16, in her home. Paddy was born on January 29, 1961, in Dowagiac, MI, to John and Christine (Coakley) Kraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, John "Big John" Kraska. In 1981, in Grand Rapids, MI, she married Jeff O. Strauss. He survives along with her sister, Krystyna (Orlando) Llenza of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and a brother, Chris (Laurie) Kraska of Twinsburg, OH. Paddy worked in Sales in the Auto Parts Industry. She was a political activist and wrote for a progressive blog. She loved her pets, was an avid reader, and enjoyed antiques. Friends may visit on Saturday, January 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. As per Paddy's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
