Jeanne Louise Zamora, 57, of Lakeville, IN passed away at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 23, 1953 in South Bend, IN to Louis E. and Myra H. (Hodgins) Walz. On March 26, 1988 in Austin, TX, she married Gilbert Zamora, who survives. Mrs. Zamora is also survived by sister, Deborah (Dick) Licini of Granger, IN; brother, Greg (Phyllis) Walz of Middlebury, IN and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Zamora was a lifelong area resident. She loved her dogs and making potpourri. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading about the history of South Bend. Her grandparents were original settlers of South Bend. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will take place in the spring in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
