SOUTH BEND - Paul Joseph Jankowski passed away on the evening of July 12, 2011 surrounded by family and friends. Paul was born in South Bend on December 9, 1966 to Rita and Ervin Jankowski, who preceded him in death. Surviving are his daughter, Breanna Giles of South Bend, his brothers Christopher and Michael, both of South Bend, sisters Melanie (Ken) Jones of Stevensville, Michigan, Dianne Jankowski of South Bend, and Anne (Rick) Seniff of North Liberty, and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is brother and closest friend Phil Jenkins of Indianapolis. A memorial mass will be said at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wilber Street in South Bend on Thursday, July 21 at 11:00 am. In accordance with his wishes, after the mass we will celebrate Pauley's life at a casual poolside barbeque at 1655 Whitetail Circle, Niles, Michigan. We will remember Pauley for his quick humor, good heart and love of family and friends. "Some of it's magic, some of it's tragic, but I had a good life all the way."
