Beverly Szucs, 62, of Clover Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001 in her home. Mrs. Szucs was born on June 9, 1938 in South Bend, Ind. as the daughter of James and Helen (Szucs) Forsythe. On Sept. 9, 1961 in South Bend, as the former Beverly Forsythe, she married John L. Szucs. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her father James Forsythe. Mrs. Szucs is survived by two daughters, Amy Baity and Christine Szucs, both of Mishawaka; a son, John Jr. (Sandra) Szucs of North Liberty, Ind.; three granddaughters, Kari Szucs, Susan Szucs, and Shannon Baity; two grandsons, John Szucs III and Ryan Baity; her mother, Helen Forsythe of Mishawaka; a sister, Joann Fashimpaur of Salt Lake City, Utah; and by two brothers, Rick Forsythe of South Bend and Jim Forsythe of Lancaster, Ky. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14 in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Bremen Municipal Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Szucs may be made to St. Joseph County Hospice, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, Ind., 46637-3437.
