Thomas A. Walenga, May 15, 1966 - August 5, 2002, 36, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Mishawaka,IN. Passed away after a lengthy illness at 8:30 a.m. on Monday Aug. 5, in Rush Presbyterian Hospital, Chicago. Tom was born on May 15, 1966, in Mishawaka to James and Phyllis, who survive. He is also survived by a sister, Karen Preusker; a brother Michael and by his niece and goddaughter, Rachel Preusker. A funeral mass has been held. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, at St. Vincent DePaul, 1010 W. Webster, Chicago. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
