Michael Lenn Arndt Sr., 69, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, in Memorial Hospital South Bend. Michael was born on October 21, 1951, in South Bend as the son of Robert and Dorothy (Rosenogle) Arndt. On April 20, 1996, in Niles, Michigan he married the former Marsha Prenkert-Bellon. Loving father of 5: David (Tracie) Arndt, Cheryl (Ken) Flatt, Kristina Fetterolf, Andrew (Jocelyn) Bellon, and Laura (Jarmie) Boyenger. Proud grandfather of 17: Jacob (Jasmine Richter) Arndt, David Arndt Jr., Brianna Arndt, Zachary Arndt, Joshua Arndt, Zachary Kincaid, Caitlin Flatt, Rebecca (Justin Nanney) Flatt, Kenneth Flatt Jr, Kristin Flatt, Melissa Flatt, Kasee Fetterolf, Kadin Fetterolf, Kalista Bellon, Scarlet Bellon, Dalton Boyenger & Aerith Boyenger. Proud great-grandfather of 5: Jason Arndt, Gabriella Flatt-Nanney, Jaelyn Arndt, Kinsley Arndt & Justice Arndt, loving brother of: Patricia (Robert) Baxter, Susan Singleton, Dorothy (Gene) Laughman, Emery (Rosemary) Arndt, Roland (Betty) Arndt, Walter (Candy) Arndt, Ronald Arndt & Franklin Arndt. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sons, Michael Arndt Jr. & Anthony Arndt; a granddaughter, Audree Boyenger; 2 brothers, Robert Arndt & Kenneth “Bill” Arndt; and a twin sister, Mary Arndt. Michael will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father. Visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 2-4 pm, at Hahn Funeral Home at 505 W. 8th Street in Mishawaka. Funeral Services will follow at 4 pm. Cremation will follow service and entombment will take place at Highland Cemetery at a later date. Due to current public health and safety standards, social distancing will be enforced and masks required.For those wishing to join, a live-streamed funeral service will also be available at 4 pm on April 30th.
