The Indiana death records show a Weronika Radecki with a death date of July 23, 1908. She was 56 years old and died in South Bend, IN. It is possible that this is George's mother who travelled with them from Poland. I cannot find evidence of her anywhere after their arrival.

I just found the paper which I sent you awhile back and I think I know a bit more about Wojciech (George) Radecki. He is the illigitimate child of Veronica Radecki; the birth dates match up (Film#2772054). So his relationship to the Radecki's is through his mother. Veronica must be a sister to Valentine and John Radecki as that is the only way Msgr. Radecki could be his first cousin. I'll have to try and find her birth record.

Wojciech is illegitimate. Veronica traveled with her son and his wife to the US in 1906.
On Veronicas death certificate it lists her parents as Andrzy Radecki & Veronika Andrzyenski. Based on the church records, it seems that her mother
was Veronica Rojewicz. She was buried in the South Bend Polish Cemetery

In Polish Wojciech translates to Albertus; I'm not sure why Wojciech changed his name to George when he came to the US.

Wojciech and Valentya immigrated February 28, 1906 on the ship "Staveley" from the port of Hamburg to the port of Liverpool, England. Wojciech
is 25 years old, his wife is 22 years old. On George and Valentinas immigration they state that they are from Gorbi Dabski and are traveling to
South Bend, IN to stay with Georges Uncle John Radecki. He lives at 1704 Fassnacth Avenue, South Bend, IN. Also with them is Veronica
Radecki, a widow, who is 50 years old. Veronicas relationship to the family is not stated, but she is no doubt Georges mother. They bought
passage between decks. George lists his occupation as a laborer. On April 3, 1906 the group boarded the ship "Ivernia" and traveled to Boston,
MA.

Marriage record found in FHL Film# 2286823. Record shows that Albertus Radecki age 22 and Valeria Glowska age 20 were married January 24,
1904. Albertuss mother is shown as Veronica Radecki; Valerias parents are Adam Glowski and Regina Milska.

The Indiana death records show a Weronika Radecki with a death date of July 23, 1908. She was 56 years old and died in South Bend, IN. Georges
mother travelled with them from Poland but I cannot find evidence of her anywhere after their arrival. I suspect she died shortly after arriving.
The below newspaper clipping states that Fr. Andrew Radecki, Georges first cousin, will be saying the Golden Julibee Mass. Although we do not
know Georges father name, Valentine and Anna Radecki were his uncle and aunt. Georges mother, Veronica Radecki was Valentines sister.
