NOTRE DAME - Arline Andres, known as “Lee” most of her life, died June 11, 2017, in Hospice, in South Bend, Indiana. She was 80. Born June 10, 1937, in Yonkers, New York, Arline was the daughter of Jack Andres, clothing cutter and designer of men's clothes and the former Helena Masley. She spent most of her life in White Plains, NY, after earning her RN. She was a charge nurse at St. Agnes Hospital, White Plains, and at Maryknoll in Ossining, NY. In 2008 Lee retired to Holy Cross Village in South Bend. She had a long and fulfilling life as a wonderful nurse, a generous, sweet sister and caring aunt. We will always miss the loving space she took up in our hearts. She is survived by her two younger brothers, Richard and Dennis, and their wives, Peggy and Mary Catherine; two nieces, Kate and Regina; and two nephews, Dennis, Jr. and Charles “Chuck” and their families.A Memorial Mass will be held at the chapel in Dujarie, Holy Cross Village on Tuesday, June 27th at 11:00 AM.
