EDWARDSBURG - Michael Thomas Crane Sr., 75, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Michael was born on December 27, 1942 in Logansport, IN to Wilford Hastings and Mary Margaret (Fettig) Crane. On February 23, 1963 in Little Flower Catholic Church, South Bend he married the former Barbara Jean Busczkiewicz. Barbara preceded him in death on August 9, 2009. Michael was also preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Timothy and Gregory Crane. Surviving are daughters, Kimberly (Brad) Flora of Cassopolis, MI and Melissa (Tobin) Schisler of Bay City, MI; sons, Michael T. Crane Jr of Edwardsburg, MI and Stephen (Marie) Crane of Midland, MI; grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Zachary, Andrew, Alexandra, Nick, Kayla, Tyler, Alyssa, and Amanda; great grandchildren, Ivan, Emma, Greyson, Jace, Ellanore, Reid, Wyatt, Tripp, Sophia and Haley Mae; sisters, Cynthia (James) Takace and Lynette Crane and; brothers, Mark (Brenda) Crane and Jock Crane; sister-in-law, Susan Crane. Michael was a self-employed contractor working in construction. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved spending time with his family, going to breakfast, and hunting on the family farm in White Pigeon, MI. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 12 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger.
