Sept. 27, 1924-Dec. 16, 1993 SOUTH BEND Services for Edward Piatkowski, 69, Huntington Beach, Calif., formerly of Grace Street, South Bend, who died Dec. 16 of a heart attack, were in Westminster (Calif.) Memorial Park Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 27, 1924, in South Bend, and lived most of his life in the area. Surviving are his wife Juanita; two daughters, Marcella Piatkowski of Huntington and Sandra Markham of Lamont, Ill.; two sons, Tim of Lamont, and Mark of Huntington Beach; five grandchildren; several stepchildren and step-grandchildren; two sisters, Genevieve Zurat and Gladys Szklarek, both of South Bend; and two brothers, William of South Bend and Joseph of Mishawaka.
