SOUTH BEND - Louis S. Batalis, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14th. Louis is survived by his sons, Dino L. (Claudia), Dennis S. (Terre) and Brent J. (Rebecca) Batalis; his grandchildren, Lauren, Nicole, Brad, Brett, Brandie, Bethanie, Austin, Sheldon and Paige Batalis; and his brother, Chris Batalis. Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 18th, at 1 p.m. in the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Lawrence, with calling at the center from 11 a.m. till time of services, followed by entombment at the Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Fire Department Needy Family Fund.
