From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, Monday, September 13, 1976:

Marion Woodka, 81, of 628 W. Western, Apt 511, died sunday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was a retired Studebaker Corp. employee. Born on Jan 23, 1895 in Poland, he had lived here 70 years, after coming from Poland. On Aug 9, 1914 in South Bend he married Veral Wroblewski, who died in 1972. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Adeline Nawrocki of Merrillville, Ind., and Mrs. Mary Jane Beczkiewicz of South Bend, four grandchildren and a brother, Stephen. Woodka was a member of Lodge 83, Polish national Alliance and the Z.B. Polish Falcons.
