Beverlee Lois Brown-LaDow, 91, of Mishawaka, IN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 25, 2022. She was born in Hales Corners, WI, on December 27, 1930, to the late Martha Auguste Gegg Brown and Earl Brown, both of St. Louis, MO. On October 29, 1949, she married Lee R. LaDow who preceded her in death on May 28, 2006. She is also preceded in death by her son, Lee Brian LaDow and sisters-in-law, Fran Kuhl and Helen LaDow. She is survived by her sons, Andrew LaDow and Barry LaDow; grandchild, Benjamin LaDow; daughter- in-law, Sarah LaDow; and sister-in-law, Sharon Kyle.Beverlee graduated from Bethel College, received her master’s degree from Indiana University and her LPN from Ivy Tech. She was licensed by the State of Indiana as a Certified Social Worker for Marriage and Family Counseling, had National Counselor Certification, and retired after 20 years of service at Memorial Hospital working as a counselor in the Social Services department. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army and a member of the East United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2022, at East United Methodist Church in Mishawaka with Pastor Dorothy Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am-1 pm prior to the service in the church. Beverlee will be laid to rest in Ferrisville Cemetery in Mishawaka. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Beverlee’s honor to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 Edison Rd, Ste D, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
