SOUTH BEND - Kenneth J. Kopinski, 74, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014, in his home. Kenneth was born on May 5, 1940, in South Bend, to Theodore and Marie (Hecklinski) Kopinski, and was a lifelong resident. He retired in November 2003 from Eby's Old Fashion Meat Market. On February 17, 1962, in South Bend, he married Patricia A. Nutter, who survives. Also surviving are his three children, Kim Cornelis of South Bend, Indiana, Scott (Mary) Kopinski of South Bend, Indiana, and Keith (Jen) Kopinski of New Carlisle, Indiana; and three grandchildren, Kylie Kopinski, Ashlyn Kopinski and Kelseigh Kopinski. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Marie Kopinski. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
