SOUTH BEND, IN - Barbara J. Bortone, 75, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. She was born on November 27, 1945, in Mishawaka, IN to the late Charles & LaFern (Moltz) Marks. On June 24, 1967, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, Barbara married Richard Bortone who survives. Also surviving are her children, Richard (Jill) Bortone Jr. and Adrienne Bortone (Philo Huston) both of South Bend; grandchildren, Noah, Justin and Isabella; and a brother, Randall Marks of Sarasota, FL. Barbara is preceded in death by her sister, Connie O'Keefe. Private family graveside services will be held in Riverview Cemetery in South Bend where Barbara will be laid to rest.
