Dale R. Biggs, May 24, 1920 - Aug. 29, 1998, Dale R. BIGGS, 78, South Bend, died 6 a.m., Saturday in South Bend Memorial Hospital. Born to Dewey and Pauline DALE BIGGS in Roann, he married Mary MOROZOWSKI in Rochester on July 8, 1942. She died on April 1988. Mr. Biggs retired from the A.M. General Corp. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 9820. Survivors include one daughter, Marcia and husband Ron DeLEE, South Bend; two sons, Rick and wife Sherry BIGGS, South Bend and Darryl and wife Pam BIGGS, North Liberty; six grandchildren; two sisters, Jean KOCH, Rochester, and Delores IHOLTS, South Bend; one brother, Robert BIGGS, Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents in 1963, two sisters, Julia [BIGGS] and Betty BIGGS, and two brothers, Richard [BIGGS] and William D. BIGGS. Services were Monday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, South Bend, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
