Anton "Ton" Kajdzik, 92, of the Carlyle Nursing Home, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. He was a Retired Studebaker Corp. employee. Bon on May 25, 1891 in Poland, he lived in South Bend most of his life. His first wife, Anna Klajbor died in 1966. On June 22, 1967, in South Bend, he married Alva Clemons, who died Oct. 13, 1983. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Amanda Nelapinski of Inboden, Ark., and Helen Fassenden of Phoenix, Ariz.; a stepson, Matthew Pike of South bend; five stepgrandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial park, Granger. Friends may call from 7 to9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contibutions may be made to the West Jehovah Witness Congregation, where he served as elder. He was a World War I Army Veteran.
