MRS. BERNICE ZEPKA
Mrs. Bernice Zepka, 72, 2101 Plumb St., died unexpectedly at her home at 8:55 a.m. today.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Stanislaus Church with Msgr. Julian Doktor officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call at the Ott Funeral Chapel Friday. The Rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
A resident of the city for 48 years, Mrs. Zepka was born in New Carlisle Aug 18, 1888, the daughter of Joseph and Frances Dusynski Glon. On Oct. 15, 1906, she was married in New Carlisle to William M. Zepka, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sister Mary Marcelia and Sister Mary Alvina of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Milwaukee, Wis. and Sylvia Zepka, at home; a son, Xavier, Detroit, Mich.; three grandchildren; four great-grand-children and a brother, Leon Glon, New Carlisle.
Mrs. Zepka was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and the Married Ladies Sodality of the Church.
