SOUTH BEND - Mary Sherry Jean Ciesiolka, 69, passed away in her South Bend residence on Monday, May 27, 2013. Mary was born February 11, 1944, in Dowagiac, MI, to the late Elmer "Doc" and Lila (Roberts) Ivens. On October 7, 1990, in South Bend, Mary married Edward Ciesiolka, who preceded her in death on November 8, 2003. Survivors include daughters, Robin Harris, Cynthia Harris, Marcia (Patrick) Zielinski and Debra (Douglas) McMurtrie, all of South Bend, IN, and Julie Mahajan of Miami, FL, and Cynthia (Donald) Diederich of Stevensville, MI; sons, Gerald (Joy) Harris, Edward (Veda) Harris and Rodney (Anita) Harris, all of South Bend, and Brian (Ann) Ciesiolka of Mishawaka, IN; special sons, Timothy (Erica) Ottbridge III and Melvin Agnew; and a special grandson, Terrae Hall, both of South Bend, IN; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mary was known to everyone who loved her as Mama, Nana and Big Mama. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and was an avid fan of the Young and Restless TV program; a big Notre Dame enthusiast; and especially loved spending time with her family and all of her grandbabies. Most of all, she cherished and loved her husband, Ed. The family wishes to give special appreciation to Hospice, William Harris, Cynthia Harris, daughter and granddaughters, TyEsha Harris and Aaryonna Agnew. Visitation for Mary will be from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Alford's Mortuary, where arrangements have been entrusted.
