SOUTH BEND - Mildred died Tuesday in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Survivors include children, Susan (James) Lingar, Sandra (David) Young, Sharon (Tim) Gordon and James (Cris) Klosowski. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Family and friends may gather in St. Anthony Catholic Church from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday for visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. in the church. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. www.sjfh.net

SOUTH BEND - Mildred T. Klosowski, 84, passed away at 12:05 am on Tuesday, March 02, 2010 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Mildred was born on October 11, 1925 in South Bend, to the late Frank and Teresa (Mazur) Chmilewski. On July 30, 1946, Mildred married Richard Klosowski and he passed away on December 14, 1992. Mildred is survived by her children Susan (James) Lingar of South Bend, Sandra (David) Young of Mishawaka, Sharon (Tim) Gordon of Mishawaka, and James (Chris) Klosowski of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, James, Todd (Lisa) and Lauren Klosowski, Leslie (Daniel) Lakin, Ashley (Michael) Freeland , Matthew Carver, and Elizabeth and Allison Gordon; great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Leah, and Ryan Klosowski and Jarod, Eli, Caleb, Nathaniel, and Rachel Lakin; sister, Betty (Al) Gapinski of South Bend; and brother, Frank (Freida) Chmilewski. Mildred was a parishioner at St. Adalbert, Holy Cross and St. Anthony Catholic Churches during her life where she was involved in the Harvest House and Legion of Mary Auxiliary. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday March 5, 2010 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Family and friends may gather in St. Anthony Catholic Church from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday, March 6, 2010 for visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am in the Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care 111 Sunnybrook Ct. South Bend, IN 46637.
