Steve Gorski
June 8, 1902 - February 2, 1964
Steve Gorski, 61, who had been ill for one year, died Sunday in the St Joseph County Home, where he resided. Mr. Gorski was a retired employee of Singer Manufacturing Co. He came to this country 58 years ago from Poland, where he was born June 8, 1902. Surviving are two sons, Joseph and Stanley, a daughter, Mrs Mary Kocsis; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Clement and John and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Wallisch and Mrs. Harriet Wroblewski, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7pm today in the St Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 10am Wednesday in St Patrick’s Catholic Church with Rev. George Meagher, CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. SBT 2/4/1964

Pallbearers at services for Steve Gorski, a resident of the St Joseph County Home, who died there Sunday, will be Steve and Joseph Vargo, Leo Zakrzewski, Paul Wallisch, Joseph Muszynski and Stanley Osowski.The rosary will be recited at 6:30pm today in the St Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 10am Wednesday in St Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.
