South Bend New Times, Deaths; Friday Morning, November 29, 1918.
Jacob Mikula, 59 years old, died at his home, 2227 W. Smith st., Wednesday afternoon following a short illness of cancer. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mikula, and 12 children, who are, Mrs. Frank Nowak, Mrs. Stephen Danilowiz, Anthony, Theresa, Helen, Floyd, Tillie, Nickolas, Irene and Irvin of this city, and Steve and Joseph in France.Funeral services will be held at the St. Stanislaus church, Rev. R. C. Marcisisk will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Jacob Mikula was born 1856 in Polish Germany, and died November 27, 1918 in South Bend, St. Joseph County IN. He married Mary Ann Zatarka 1890. She was born Abt. 1871 in Polish Germany, and died May 26, 1949 in South Bend, St. Joseph County IN.
