From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, Friday, November 25, page 28:

Alvin (Albin) Kolacz, age 43, of rural route. No. 4, New Carlisle, this county, died at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon in his home. He had been ill four weeks. He was born in New Carlisle and lived his entire life in that community. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Kolacz; four sons, Ralph, Harry, Edwin and Casimir; one daughter, Theresa; three brothers, Walter, John and Leo, all of New Carlisle; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hoczinski, North Liberty, this county, and Mrs. Joan Niespodziany, Lydick, Ind.
