SUSAN A. HUXHOLD

GRANGER -- Susan Ann Huxhold, 53, of Ashwood Drive, died at Elkhart General Hospital Friday (Sept. 6, 2002). On Oct. 8, 1948, she was born in South Bend to Frank and Ann (Mescaros) Kurlowicz. She graduated in 1966 from Riley High School and married Earl J. Huxhold on April 18, 1970. Mrs. Huxhold is survived by her husband; two sons, Patrick (Cynthia) of Bristol and Justin of Granger; her father, of South Bend; one grandson; and a brother, Paul F. (Phyllis) Kurlowicz of Portage, Mich. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, with a prayer vigil at 5:30 p.m. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Bill Sullivan at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Elkhart. Mrs. Huxhold worked for the University of Notre Dame as an assistant to the director of student accounts. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the LaSalle Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
