Emma DeValk, 89, of Osceola, passed away on November 13, 2022 in Granger. She was born on Oct. 27, 1933 in Rensselaer, IN to Lester and Gladys (Kennedy) Wortley. She is survived by her sons, Trent (Lanette) Rajski and Jeff (Ann) Rajski; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ivan Wortley; and 4 sisters: Clair (Larry), Wanda, Bonnie (Don) and Connie. Emma was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald B. Rajski, in 1997 and her second husband, Hank DeValk, in 2010. A son, Barry Rajski, also preceded her in death. Emma was previously a member of the Red Hat Society. She attended Coalbush United Methodist Church for many years, but, most recently, was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking and cooking. She loved to exercise and she was fond of entertaining. Friends may visit with the family from 11-1 PM on Friday Nov. 18, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561. A Funeral Service in her honor will be at 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
