Helen S. Cegielski

Helen B. Cegielski, 90, of Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, formerly of South Bend, died at 6:45 today in the nursing home. Mrs. Cegielski was born Nov. 7, 1898, in Manistee, Mich., and had lived in South Bend most of her life. Her husband, Michael, preceded her in death. She is survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a sister, Rosalie Plencner of South Bend. A daughter, Isabelle Edstrom, and a son, Stanley, preceded her in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at7p.m. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Monday, Feb. 6, 1989.
