Justine (June) M Kucharski, On Sunday morning our lovely Mom passed away in her home after her battle with dementia. June was born on September 24, 1931 in South Bend, Indiana to her parents, the late Henry J. & Julia (Szymanowski) Luzny. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Henry J. (Hank) Luzny, Jr. and Francis X. (Bud) Luzny. On May 26, 1951 in St. Hedwig Catholic Church, she married Joseph M. Kucharski, he preceded her in death on September 19, 1991. Left to cherish the memory of June are her daughters, Julie (Craig) Kalka, Sue (Bob) Kruszynski, and Kathy (Gary) Sosinski; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, that she adored. She is also survived by her sister, Ann M. Zane; and several nieces & nephews. June also leaves behind her loving companion of 17 years, Stan “Flynn” Bikowski, who she shared their love of song and dance. A Special thank you to June’s granddaughter, Sara Kalka who was her caregiver. She was truly a blessing and angel to the family. We would also like to thank Rachel Gildea for her kindness and care. To Hospice of Mishawaka for the caring of our Mom, they were a God sent to our family. Visitation for June will be 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Thursday, October 21, 2021 in St. Joseph Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Thursday, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
