WINAMAC - Lowell R. Podell, 95, of Winamac, IN, passed away at 10:30 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, IN. He was born August 19, 1919, in Winamac, IN, to Theodore and Mary Dressler Podell. Lowell was married on June 6, 1942, in Hammond, IN, to Helen F. Timm. Helen passed away December 1, 2008. He was a former 4-H Leader and former member of the Pulaski County Fair Board. Survivors include two sons, Raymond (Dee) Podell of Grand Forks, ND and Rick (Jeannie) Podell of Walkerton, IN, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EDT Friday, April 3, 2015, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, Pastor Mark Fakih officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EDT Thursday at Frain Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Denham. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN.
