SOUTH BEND - Lloyd "Butney" Rynearson, 71, of 1308 Brummitt Lane, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Rynearson retired in 1985 from O'Brien Paint Co., where he had worked for 37 years. Born June 2, 1920, in South Bend, he was a life long area resident. On Feb. 14, 1946, in South Bend, he married Dorothy F. Cenkush. She survives with a daughter, Sharon Babbs of Round Rock, Texas; two sons, Kenneth and Dale, both of South Bend, two grandchildren; six sisters, Marvel Crill of Phoenix, Garnet Utley of Clear Lake, Ind., and Gladys Myers, Thelma Farkas, Marie DeBoever and Betty Hermann, all of South Bend; and a brother, Earl Sr. of Mishawaka. Mr. Rynearson was a World War II Army veteran. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
