Ronald V. Gyorkos, 71, of South Bend passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka. He was born October 18, 1949 in South Bend to the late Victor and Lillian (Nagy) Gyorkos. Ronald is survived by his sister, Linda Kidder; niece, Kim (Brian) Koloszar; nephew, David (Stacy) Benko; great-nieces, Alexis (Preston) Newbraugh and Abby Koloszar; and great-nephews, Greg Richard, Tyler Benko, Zachary Benko, and Brendan Benko. Ronald lived in Chicago for eighteen years before returning to South Bend in 1998. While living in Chicago, he worked as a manager for Accent Chicago inside Water Tower Place. He loved the city and made so many dear friends while living there. Ronald enjoyed movies and music, as well as gardening and spending time outdoors. There will be no services at this time. Palmer Funeral Homes-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with the arrangements.
