South Bend - Marjorie Ann Kloski, 91, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Miller’s Merry Manor. Marjorie was born August 21, 1927 in Detroit, MI to the late Nicholas and Mary (Shamka) Kloski. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Lawrence Kloski on October 29, 2007. She was also preceded by her son, Tom Kloski, and step-sister, Virginia.
Survivors of Marjorie include her daughters, Adrian (Phil) Andrzejewski, Audrey (Art) Wolfel, Loretta LeCount, Ramona (Steve) Huber, Judy (Elmer) Babbs, son, Lamont (Mary) Kloski; grandsons, Derrick (Michelle) Kloski, Brian Wolfel, Kyle (Christine) LeCount, Neil LeCount, Aaron (Callie) Huber, Andrew Huber, Joshua (Ashley) Semak, Rodney (Jennifer) Semak, Ezra Babbs, Gabriel Kloski; granddaughters, Nicole (Bob) O'Hara, Emily (Randy) Messineo, Corey (Nic) Saad , Christin Kloski, Breana Kloski, Victoria Kloski; 18 Great Grandchildren; step-brother, Nicholas Kloski; step-sister, Shirly Lance; sister-in-law, Leona Bogunia, and several cousins. Marjorie retired from Memorial Hospital in 1991 where she was a nursing assistant. She was a great cook, especially her apple pie. Marjorie enjoyed dancing, singing in the choir, ice cream, traveling and shopping. She also enjoyed collecting angel figurines. Marjorie’s favorite colors were purple and red. She loved the red rose bushes her family planted for her. Marjorie was a very devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She believed that people should treat others as they want to be treated. She thought it was very important to make sure all her family was treated fairly and with compassion.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Millers Merry Manor in Wakarusa and the Center for Hospice Care of Elkhart for their kindness and compassion. Visitation for Marjorie will be 9:00 am - 10:00 am Wednesday, December 5, 2018 with a Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. St. Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family.
