Michael Thomas Gefri passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was 51. He was born in Livingston, New Jersey on January 19, 1971 to Frederick John and Bernice Wilhelmena (Hermann) Gefri. Michael is survived by his wife, Yvonne; their children, Jacob and Noah; and mother, Bernice. Preceding Michael in death was his father, Frederick. Michael was a graduate of Hackettstown High School in New Jersey and worked as a photographer for the school newspaper and was a part of sky club. Later, after moving to the Granger, Indiana area, he volunteered with Penn High School debate and track teams. He was also a Lippert community volunteer. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Osceola United Methodist Church, 431 N. Beech Rd. Osceola, IN 46561.
