Linda G. Wujcikowski, 58, residing in South Bend, passed away at 4:55 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at home. She was born September 19, 1953 in South Bend to the late John Thomas and Glenna Bell (Brashers) Hammons, and remained a lifelong area resident. On July 31, 1970 in Truman, Arkansas, Linda married Steven A. Wujcikowski, who survives. Linda was a systems manager at Plastic solutions for 14 years. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. In addition to her loving husband, Steven, Linda is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Timothy) Respondek of South Bend and Connie (Joseph) Bailey of Indianapolis; one son, Steven A. Wujcikowski, Jr. of South Bend; eight grandchildren, James Ewing, Jr., Seth Respondek, Breanna Respondek, Shyane Bailey, Joseph Bailey, III, Jonathan Bailey, Alek James Wujcikowski and Paige Joy Wujcikowski; and two great grandchildren, Codie Respondek, Jr. and Amelia Respondek. She is also survived by two sisters, Donna (Floyd) Conley and Sherrie (Donald) Barnes, both of South Bend; and one brother, Barry Hammons, also of South Bend. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2012 in Palmer Funeral Home - River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Denver Burns will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday and 2 hours prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
