Steven Kovacs, Jr, 63, of Mishawaka, IN passed away, Monday, July 14, 2008 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. He was born on June 4, 1945 in Csorna, Hungary to Steven and Elizabeth (Szarka) Kovacs and immigrated to the United States in October 1956. His father, Steven Kovacs, Sr. preceded him in death earlier on Monday. Steve is survived by his children, Steven Kovacs, III and David Kovacs both of Mishawaka; one grandson, Joshua Kovacs; his mother, Elizabeth Kovacs of South Bend; two brothers, Zoltan (Judy) Kovacs of South Bend and Louie (Teri) Kovacs of Niles. His sister, Anna Kovacs preceded him in death. Private services will take place. Contributions in memory of Steven Kovacs, Jr. may be made to Center For Hospice & Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
