SOUTH BEND - John R. Alexander, 85, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, in the West Bend Nursing Facility. John was born October 29, 1929, in South Bend, to the late Hipolit and Contanca (Paskiewicz) Alexander. On June 2, 1973, John married his loving wife, Dolores (Kuspa) Alexander, who preceded him in death on January 26, 2015. John was also preceded in death by his sisters, Hattie, Helen Majewski and Ann Zwrerzynski; and by a brother, Edward Alexandrowicz. Survivors of John include many nieces & nephews. John was a graduate of The State of Indiana School for the Deaf. He retired from Penz Tools where he was a metal worker. John was a member of the Community Services of the Adult Deaf, FOP #435, and PNA #83. Visitation for John will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, July 19, 2015, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday, July 20, 2015, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
