Steve Momotiuk, 75, Goshen, died at 8:58 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 at his home. He was born February 2, 1946 in Bad Horn, Germany, to Dmytro and Antonina (Melnychuk) Momotiuk.On September 9, 1972, he married Janina (Adamiak) Momotiuk. Surviving are his wife, Janina, Goshen; 4 children, Andrew (Michele) Momotiuk, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Alex Momotiuk, Goshen, Tania (Craig) Jones, Middlebury, Kathy (Charles) Haney, Gosport; 13 grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Jonathan, Michael, Stephen, Nathan, Elizabeth, Tetiana, Elliana, Matthew, William, Sophie and Lucy. Preceding him in death are his parents and 3 brothers, Alex, Robert and Milet Momotiuk. Steve served in the U.S. Army. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for almost 20 years. He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. with the service following at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, all at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 417 S. Main St., Goshen. Father Royce Gregerson will officiate and burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
