GRANGER The 50th anniversary of Jean and Richard Nyerges of Granger was celebrated with a fam-ily dinner Jan. 6 at Tippecanoe Place Restaurant, South Bend. Richard Nyerges and Jean Hughes married Feb. 16, 1958, at First Brethren Church, South Bend. They have three daughters, Debra Palkowitch and Sandra Hagen, both of Granger, and Julie Besinger of Mishawaka. They also have six grandchildren. Mr. Nyerges retired in 2000 as an electrician after 41 years with Herrman & Goetz Inc., South Bend. Mrs. Ny-erges retired as a real estate agent/broker for Coldwell Banker Anchor Real Estate, South Bend. They have lived in Granger, South Bend and Mishawaka all of their lives.
