Jan. 10, 1923 - Nov. 11, 2015
MARGATE, FL - Evelyn Minsky passed away on Nov. 11th, in Margate, FL, where she had resided for many years. Evelyn, the eldest of seven children, was born to Joseph and Stella (Cyman) Jagla. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abe, and a son, Kim Wickey of Arvada, CO. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Edward Jagla of South Bend and Joseph Jr. Jagla of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and a sister, Irene Stahl of Mishawaka. Surviving Evelyn are two sons, Kermit (Amy) Wickey of Denver, CO, and Kevin (Jean) Wickey of Coral Springs, FL; a daughter, Karen (Edwin) Jarvis of Mineral, VA. She was so proud of her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Eugene (Barbara) Jagla, Benedict (Marlene) Jagla, and a sister, Patricia (Raymond) Demski, all of South Bend. Evelyn was not only a beautiful person on the outside, but a loving and compassionate person on the inside. She would do anything she could to help anyone. Her husband and children always came first with her. Thank you Dear God for giving us such a wonderful sister and Thank You Evelyn for all you did for all your siblings. You were like a mother to us, being as our mother was sickly. We love you, and you will always be in our hearts. Your little sister, Patty I love you to the moon and back.
