Pietro "Peter" Bevilacqua was born in Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. He immigrated to the US in 1907 - going to Crystal Falls, Iron Co., MI where his sister Angela Bevilacqua Frizzo was living. Other siblings were Marie, Joseph, Alice, Itilo, Mrs. Louis Carrollo of Bridgeport, WA and a sister in Italy. There was work in the Iron Mines - Living near Rosario & Annita Vannozzi Frucci. They would all later locate to Niles, MI. Peter's wife - Julia Bioneli had arrive in America with her parents in 1900. The Bevilacqua's arrived in Niles in 1921. They were the parents of Jean (R.C. Bennett), Jamie Marie (Michael Barrett) and William Donald (Elizabeth Betty Hess) - all born in Crystal Falls. In Niles - Peter was employed by French Paper Mill. He passed away in 1955 at the age of -79 years while in Chicago at the home of daughter - Jean. Julia pased away in 1964 at the age of -87 years at a nursing home in Mishawaka, IN. They are interred together at Calvary Cemetery in Niles, MI. .
