SOUTH BEND - Lillian H. Chrzanowski, 87, of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in Memorial Hospital. Lillian was born May 19, 1924, in Chicago, IL, to the late Peter and Teofilia (Majewski) Chrzanowski. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Estelle Zots. She is survived by her nieces, Elaine Renfus of Woodridge, IL, and Emily Ryan, of Westmont, IL. She is also survived by her longtime caregiver, Joan Dudzinski of South Bend. Lillian had worked assembling electronic games, and worked in the Deli at Meijer's on Portage Avenue. She was a former member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church, Mayflower Homemakers Club of St. Joseph County, the Polonaise Club of South Bend, and the Sierra Club. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place at Welsheimer Crematory. Private family burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
