Mrs. Joseph W. Paczkowski
Mrs. Maryann Paczkowski, aged 64, of 313 Chestnut Street, died at 1 a.m. today in her home after nine years' illness. She was born in Garrett, Ind., Sept. 6, 1880, and came to South Bend from there 54 years ago. Surviving are the husband, Joseph W.; two children, Sigmund and Clara, at home; a brother, Roman Wieczorek; two sisters, Mrs. Magdalen Pietrzak and Mrs. Frances Przeradeki; two half-brothers, Valentine and Anthony Wieczorek, and three grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends will be received in the home after 5 p.m. Tuesday until the funeral at 10 1.m. Thursday in St. hedwige's Roman Catholic Church with Rev Stanislaus A. Gruza, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mrs. Paczkowski was a member of the Women's Apostleship of Prayer, St. Hedwige Womens's Civic Club and St. Bernice's Society No. 834, Polish Roman Catholic Union, all of St. Hedwige's Parish.
