Married to Emma Chwalek on 9-15-1918 at Oswego, N.Y. Age 85 of 1265 Woodland, Niles Mich; died at 10:24 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Employed by the Studebaker Corp for 45 years; and lived in the South Bend area most of his life. Services at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Married to Emma Chwalek on 9-15-1918 at Oswego, N.Y., who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Samolczyk of Niles, MI., five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
